New life for one of my favorite sanders!!
The cord is very similar to the original cord, just a little stiffer. I liked the very flexible OEM cord; but, this cord may soften with use. If it does not, I will use it anyway. Way less expensive than a new sander. Change is an adjustment many of us resist.

More Powerful with the old batteries.
I have an older M12 3/8 inch drill that served me well until I subjected it to abuse and it broke. The batteries are in good condition, so I found a new M12 brushless model that is 1/2 inch, has more power, and has a hammer feature. The old batteries and I are happpy.
