Excellent for it price
An entry level audiophile headphones with amazing value. Delightful and lush characteristics in the sound. Good imaging and impressive big sound stage. Considered being up there with $500+ cans by many audiophiles. Build quality is good, but I’d handle with care. Cable is very long, so it’s not suitable on the go. Amplifier recommended as they can sound bit thin from weak source.

Comfortable and improves on stock pads sound
Alcantara version of YAXIs here.
With Denon AH-D2000 (same driver as in TH610), these pads compared to stock ones:
+ Comfortable on long listening sessions. Keeps skin cooler due alcantara. Softer foam, but not memory foam soft.
+ Sound stage seems wider. Could be due bigger ear opening and materials.
+ Bass is less boomy, but still slams and reach low. Less fatiguing.
+ Mids and highs. I think mids and mid-highs are better. Vocals stand out in the mix more. Highs are similar to stock pads to my ears.
The sound can be tweaked by rotating pad angle, without losing wearing comfort:
1) Thicker part of pad pointing downwards gives me the sound described in this review.
2) Pointing up, it sounds closer to YAXI’s product package TH610 description.
So these are versatile and comfortable pads. If you prefer stock pads for overall sound, but want to improve upon it, these pads are great.
