Keeps my coffee hot
This mug does the job. It keeps hot beverages hot much longer than ceramic mugs. Although it isn't as pretty as any of the many ceramic mugs I've collected over the years, it performs better. It's also very light weight.

Brilliant design; solves common issue with Strat bridges.
2 of 2 found this helpful This bridge overcomes a very specific design fault of most Strat bridges: the excessive length of string beyond the saddle. In most bridges, the string travels over the saddle, making a hard turn, and then makes another hard turn through the bridge plate, and then travels some distance to the place where the ball end is anchored. Although many vintage aficionados will testify that this arrangement is necessary for maximum tone and sustain, and true vintage tone, it causes tuning instability. With this new bridge, I found no loss of tone or sustain (I hate how this word is overused by every guitar part manufacturer; they claim every part and every design they create increases sustain). The specific tuning issue with the traditional design shows up when you bend strings on a Strat, particularly on the G string. Start with your guitar perfectly tuned; bend the G string, but do not touch the bar; check your tuning and you will find the G string flat; push down on the bar and then release; check your tuning and you will find your G string back in tune. Now, assuming you have done everything possible to eliminate string binding in and behind the nut (I have), you might still find the above to be true (I did, until I installed this bridge). The reason for the phenomenon is that when you bend the individual string, extra tension gets stored behind the saddle due to the multiple sharp turns and excessive length. That tension is not released back into the speaking length when you release the string, but WILL release back when you manipulate the bar. This particular bridge solves that problem by having the string seat very deeply into the tone block, and by allowing the string to pass through the bridge plate and directly to the saddle from the ball end, with a very short travel distance. In this design, it is very difficult to store tension behind the saddle, so when I bend my G string it returns to tune damn near perfectly without having to manipulate the bar. This bridge is a game changer for me, and I am very pleased with it. It also moves very, very smoothly. It feels great, sounds great, and solves a long-standing issue for me on my Strat. Highly recommended.

Perfect fit. Great value. No other product like it out there that I could find.
Plastic has no affect on the performance of the pickups, unlike metal mounting rings, and is far, far less expensive and more rugged than wood units.
