Works ok for backup camera, not for hitch.
It fits they way it should and hooked up fine with the old aftermarket camera wiring I had in place but the camera doesn't point far enough downward to be able to see the hitch... And I hook up to different trailers almost every day.

Smooth and powerful!
1 of 1 found this helpful Best "impact" gun I've used, though they don't call it that. I have a small garage door business and each new door installation takes close to 100 self tapping screws. With a standard impact gun, by the time I'm done, my ears are ringing from an the noise. The Surge on the other hand is so much smoother and much more quiet than the others, that doing 2 or 3 or 4 doors in a day no longer bothers me. It's definitely not silent as some of these garage doors sound like metal trash can lids but definitely a huge improvement. I hope they add one-key soon to be able to set the torque for different metal thicknesses and I really wish the 1/4 quick connect was spring loaded so that when you pull the release the bits would be ejected right away without having to use 2 hands. It could also use a little bit holder attachment like the m12 Fuel has. Still the best driver you can get, I used to be a yellow brand guy but this year switched to m18 Fuel for everything and won't look back!
