A superb read!
A compelling story about an outsider who was told as a teenager she would never amount to anything. This is an entertaining story that conjures images of the industrial landscape of The gritty northern city of Bradford in the 1970s and 1980s and a writer who showed us her personal view of this world. Adelle Stripe cleverly skips between biography and fiction allowing us to follow the struggle of life and the discovery of creativity narrative. This is a book to have proudly on any bookshelf and if there is any justice, your copy should be falling apart with lots of use!
