Best astronomy book for the layman
This is the best astronomy book for the layman I've ever seen. It is easy to read, logically laid out, and keeps my interest. I'm reading it from the first page and find it fascinating. It has a good use of color and graphics.

One of my all time favorite movies. Worth seeing again and again.
2 of 2 found this helpful I saw this when it first came out, alone. The next night I brought my wife to see it and she loved it as much as me. The music is haunting and stays with you. Danny Elfman is a musical maestro. As one of Johnny Depp's first movies one can see the spark of genius he carries that makes him so much in demand. Winona Ryder is terrific here. Her chain smoking habit hadn't yet coarsed her features. Diane Weiss is exceptional, as is Alan Arkin. It's a new age fairy tale, interspersed with unexpected humor.
