Heavy enough to be stable
I bought this because a bench did not help me use the barbell to its potential, its very good and very stable.
I still have to be safety conscious though...... that is not part of the package, but a very wise purchase.

Mystery of its clinometer
After googling to distraction I found that it is a tool for searching for given heavenly bodies.
Bit nerdy but the kind of tool you wouldn't have to have a power source.
