One might be lucky to get a good one but customer support is lacking.
I bought the CLP325 printer to replace a CLP300 printer which was perfectly serviceable until two pages of thermal fax paper accidentally went through it and the cost of spare parts greatly exceeds the cost of a new printer.
The CLP325 seems to be quite a good unit but the one we obtained had a fault from the start by printing an unwanted mark on every sheet. The unit was returned under warranty and the fault was found to be genuine. However the manufacturer regards the faulty part as a consumable item and is stalling on the replacement. While this difficulty may well get resolved, at present I am about a month without a serviceable printer. So this is certainly not a good example of customer support.
