Best receiver you can buy at this price point! Nothing comes close!
3 of 3 found this helpful STRDN1080 is absolutely the best bang for buck receiver you can get at this price point.
Set-up and sound calibration was a breeze and the interface is really slick. And although there are a lot of options and things to play around with; everything felt easy and simplified.
Coming from an eight-year-old Pioneer VSX 1019AH-K the sound improvement was immediately noticeable. The detail and imaging on the surround sound is amazing, Bass authority is enhanced and not overdone. Conversations now seem louder and properly mixed on the center speaker.
Overall, I am surprised by how much my sound has improved by switching to this receiver. You can't go wrong with this purchase!
