An "Unforgettable" Album
This album was one of many in the "Best Of" Series by Capitol Records. This collection has the standards that Cole was known for, such as "Unforgettable" and "Mona Lisa", as well as rare gems such as the dreamy "The Sand And The Sea". It is a known fact that many Cole albums have alternate versions of much of his material, which may or may not be appealing to the listener. However, all of the tracks are the original versions, with clear, excellent sound. If there is one complaint about this album, it is that it reminds you of those tiny box of chocolates. There's just enough in the box to get a sampling, but you end up longing for more. After listening to this brief but wonderful album, you'll be saying the same thing about Mr. Cole's music.
