A brilliant collection of a great director's work.
Although I have not watched every film yet, I can attest that Jules & Jim and The Soft Skin are both nicely transferred and having only ever watched these on ropey VHS or DVD versions, it is such a treat to see them in this condition. I have read elsewhere that the transfer quality of the other films in this set is very high. My one criticism is that The 400 Blows wasn't included, arguably this director's best work, but I believe Criterion have released it in their own catalogue, unsurprisingly getting the royal treatment.
In any case this is a superb collection of films and ownership simply a no-brainer for any fan of Truffaut.
