Wi-fi reaches where old router could not

After failing with a couple other 'powerful' routers and some high-gain antennas, I looked for a Tomato-capable router with more powerful wi-fi. Found reviews where this one helped people reach through wi-fi-unfriendly walls... The R7000 didn't disappoint! Now we have signal on the back porch where it fell off before, and even goes 30 ft past the porch. Running the latest Shibby Tomato 138 AIO with Transmit Power set to 0 (default), router mounted vertically with antennas in the " | /" configuration.
