Highly Recommended
This gimbal has surprised me. I’m using it with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and my Canon T2i DSLR . It handles the payload for each device perfectly. While most video on my Canon is shot with a 24mm pancake lens, it balances my 50mm Prime and 18-55mm kit lens as well. The Feiyu provides quiet and smooth motors when balanced properly and feels solid.
Cons.. the shaft lock rings. They can stick and you’ll find it tricky to get them out of the unlock position. This is addressed in their manual and troubleshooting documentation so it is a known issue. They do not need to be over tightened. Subtle adjustments. Remember that! Also, no portrait mode. No quick swap between landscape and portrait (aka TikTok mode) for you social media buffs.
All-in-All.. Love it. I’ll will also add.. I enjoy having the removable batteries that can be charged internally and externally. They have a great lifespan.
