Asus PIKE IR card with many FW (LSi) options.
1 of 1 found this helpful This card is normally shipped in IR mode (With IR LSi firmware) but can be cross-flashed into other RAID & non-RAID modes relatively easy, as all the other FW options for this type of card are easily available via the web, with many guides around on how to cross-flash. However, this card can also be passed through to the OS'es without cross-flashing; simply by not loading the PIKE Option ROM - within the Asus board's BIOS. Note though that if you do dissable the PIKE option ROM you will not be able to actually 'boot' via the card, but drives will (should) show up in the OS. Tested within Windows 10 & Linux distros.
