A marvellous anthropological journey
This is an archeological/anthropological documentary of Australia's occupation by its First People. It is an absolutely fascinating study of the environmental conditions and the adaptions by the indigenous people to the changes in those conditions (including first encounters with Europeans) over 50,000 odd years. There are a multitude of 'characters' but no 'acting'. I did enjoy Ernie Dingo's dignified narration and was 'engaged' by the old indigenous trackers telling the story of footprints once made in mud, now preserved in rock.
