As always, Chinese quality made of chinesium.
5 of 5 found this helpful The base is great. Strong magnet, multi position.
The gauge is terrible. Not at all accurate and very hard to calibrate.
Treat the purchase as vase only with free dial gauge to use as a basic idea of if you’re in any sort of accuracy range- though you won’t know what that range is.
For the money, a reasonable base with potential to use for other items.

Useless!
Does not silence or muffle at all. Air draws through one end unobstructed through a tube which has foam around it. Zero dampening of noise at all. Foam serves no purpose- doesn't filter either. To be fair, quality of the plastic seems ok.
