Darling Story; Insensitive Illustrations

The text of The Wonky Donkey is hilarious. Unfortunately, there is a brace on the donkey’s leg. The brace is very much like an assistive brace that a child with orthopedic challenges might wear. So, this book feels like th reader is making fun of physical differences. Not sure how the illustrations could have been done so the book would be funny but not offensive.
