Bought after borrowing from library
I borrowed this book from the library and it has tons of valuable information about buying a home that I have never read about anywhere else. I wish I would have learned about this book when I was much younger before we bought and lived in three different homes. I bought this copy for our son he is just starting out. The knowledge in this book is timeless even though the book is out-of-print.

Smaller size brush helpful.
Especially like this set because it has the smaller size of brush that most of the similar sets do not have. Bottle brushes without a tip on the bottom do not have anything to clean the bottom of your item. Also, if a bottle brush does not have a tip---the metal of the bottle brush can scratch the bottom of a vase. I have these tipped brushes n both cotton and polyester tips and I do not have a preference for what the tip is made of---but again I do have a preference for getting this set that has the one smaller size brush included in this set.

Vintage means very high quality
This is a vintage Swing A Way Can Opener, new in the original packaging without any rust or any other defects. I had this exact model when I was a newlywed 38 years ago and it worked well about 33 years. After it broke, I bought the same model again--it looked the same but it broke. I bought other brands to try to find something functional--and then I went back to buy a second Swing A Way Can Opener---and when I read the reviews on Amazon--people pointed out that the new models of this can opener were NOT made in the USA---and a number of other people were having the new models that are made outside the USA break just like mine did. Planned obsolesce.
