Bought this to replace the nut that was improperly cut on my Fender Jazz bass. It fit perfectly without any string slot filing. Very satisfied.

Buy it!
If you've been wanting a Gretsch and don't want to spend a small fortune, look no further than the G5420 Series. I think this guitar is a steal in this price range. Own Gibsons, US Fenders, Taylors, etc. and I enjoy playing this guitar as much as any of them. Nails the early Beatles sound, rockabilly, even jazz rolling off the highs on the neck pickup. Just buy it, you won't be sorry.

Fender Telecaster FMT, cool guitar
2 of 2 found this helpful Been playing guitar at the pro level longer than I care to admit and been through a few guitars in that time. All pro gear, Gibson, Martin, G&L, American Fenders etc. When I came across this one, it was love at first sight. I chose the amber color option with a striking flame maple top, cream body and fingerboard binding. Not your typical Fender features. This is not your average Tele and if you are looking for that classic Tele twang, go for the single coil standard models instead. I also have an American Telecaster for that sound. This guitar has its own unique voice, more full bodied due to the humbuckers. Sounds great through my Fender Twin and a Marshall. Even though made in Korea(I know, not a selling point) they appear to be well made. The fit and finish is impressive. The newer ones are made in Indonesia so I'm not familiar with the quality on those. Some of the Korean guitar facilities actually put out some nice guitars and mine is one of them. The neck is straight and glued on(also not a usual Fender feature), stays in tune, and is a pleasure to play. It feels like a more expensive guitar and was hesitant at first just because the price was so low. This guitar is a bargain and would definitely recommend it.
