A good book
The story was a little odd. The ‘yellow cat’ didn’t feel the main focus of the story with a quick mention at the beginning and then towards the end. I read it to a 4 year old and it was hard for her to follow however the little tit bits and funny bits of information through the story about Ottoline she found amusing.

Not for us
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter and I to read. Amelia Jane is a naughty girl that likes messing around with other toys, but the first story in the book felt more like bullying than anything else. We stopped reading half way through the next story.
