Andoer DSLR Camera Cage Rig +Top Handle Grip For Panasonic Lumix GH3 GH4 DD H0X5

Well made at a low cost.
Camera cages are a dime a dozen these days. Ever since the shift to DSLR/Mirrorless cameras happened, we have needed ways to attach equipment to our cameras of which, these smaller cameras seriously lack. Enter the cage. I have need looking at cages for a long time and I finally decided to buy one recently. They can be expensive though ranging from $30 to $300. A cage is not something I personally will use on every shoot, but I knew that I was sick of trying to find places to attach extra gear. I viewed a few videos of cages that where recommended by a few video bloggers, they all looked pretty much the same. Some were better than others. Anyway, I had a budget, while I like to get good quality gear, I also don't have a lot of money, so I normally look at the cheaper options. The Andoer, wasn't the cheapest, but it was at the lower end and looked well made. I couldn't be happier. The product is, as I said before, well made, simple, but solid. The handle is obviously not going to be the nicest thing to hold compared to the much more expensive cages. But it's comfortable enough. I was also pleasantly surprised to find slits for adding a hand strap to the side. The only downside is that the fit doesn't leave any room for a quick release plate. I would love if the cage had a little more height to accomodate one. Having to unscrew the camera from the cage every time is a bit of pain, but for the price, you have to expect to live with a little pain, and I can live with it. If you have a GH4, this is a great cage to get you started.
