Painful

I purchased this to be able to use and xbox elite on my ps4. Once i received the cronus max I was keen to plug and play. However, its been 3 days and i still cant configure the settings correctly. The whole process is confusing and unclear. I think i get it to work for it to turn off every 5 minutes in the middle of a game. Sometimes the buttons are different to what i press. For example i press the back paddle i set to the jump button, but when i press it, it brings up the menu..
