Parents advice - listen and enjoy!
(Parental Advisory) [PA] seems to be added to so many albums & then tracks without anyone listening to the whole thing. Shadow of the Day may be a bit too middle of the road for some LP fans but shows a level of maturity in the band that invites a new audience who yearn for good enjoyable music to enjoy the rest of the album from this stepping stone. Just focussing on this track may detract from the rest of the album but those more at home with the likes of Vertical Horizon (if you haven't heard of them go shop NOW!) and maybe Keane, Maroon 5 etc will get an invitation they may not be able to decline if they start from this point and then delve deeper into Linkin Park's back catalogue.
