I am totally satisfied with the Gibson J35 and would eagerly reccomend it.
2 of 3 found this helpful I was looking for a good guitar at a reasonable price. I considered many brands, did my research, and settled on either a Martin or a Gibson because I had owned at least one of each. I bought this one, "lightly used" on ebay and saved a couple of hundred bucks over a new one. It is opening up nicely and sounds great. The J35 has a short scale length and is easier to finger with my small hands. Workmanship is excellent, as with all Gibsons, and the finish is prime as well. It stays in tune for weeks and is exactly what I wanted; a good to great sounding, well made instrument at a reasonable price.
