Difficult to connect
It is a real challenge to connect the switch extension wire to the lead coming from the switch. Too much force is required. I compromised 1 of 9 of my extensions which I could repair. However, a second was ruined, and a third does not work.

Replacement
It was a replacement for the original remote which lost its battery cover (my 3-yr old grandchild probably knows where it is!).
