5x2 Thick Translucent Blue Glass Bud Vase
    22 January 2020
It looks like a vase, it works like a vase. It's a vase.
Not much to say. It is a small vase. It holds water and flowers. It looks nice. However, it is 4-inches tall not 5. Nice light-medium blue color. It appears to be individually blown into a mold then hand finished. Semi-hand-made. Semi-mass-produced. No signature nor maker's mark.
Nikon Ai-S Micro NIKKOR 105mm f4 Manual Lens
    24 April 2020
    A Classic Nikon Lens
If you enjoy retro equipment and the precision of manual photography, this classic 105mm manual-focus f/4 AI-S Micro lens creates beautiful images and works on many modern Nikon digital cameras. Attached is a reduced macro photo, produced by this lens plus PN-11 extension tube, of the color shifting, gold glitter numerals from a US Franklin note, and a full resolution detail from the same image, shot at 6000 x 4000 pixels on a Nikon D7100. The photo could have been better since the image and film planes were not perfectly parallel. This slight discrepancy was sufficient to throw part of the image out of focus due to the incredibly shallow depth of field found at 1:1 magnification at f/8.
