Welcome Upgrade to Aging Laptop

It was a great upgrade to a laptop that had only 2.4ghz WiFi. Simple install. I installed the drivers prior to replacing the card. (Good idea as you don't have WiFi to download the drivers if you wait until the card is installed.) I was able to install this in about an hour as there was a fair bit of disassembly for this laptop. YMMV depending on the laptop you have.

Great Value, Easy to Use

It was easy to set up. Good: Almost everything was in the box. The only thing missing in this open-box unit was the setup microphone. I had one from my previous receiver, so I used that one. Took me about 30 minutes to get it un-boxed, cabled and set up. Controls are understandable and it works well with my Logitech remote. One thing I don't like is when I turn on my blue ray player, it automatically switches input. I may not be ready for that. You know, put in the disc and wait for all the commercials to run. There may be a setting for this, but I've not gone looking yet. Since I'm standing by the unit, I just select the input from the front of the unit to return to what I want until I'm ready to go to the BrP.
