Key improvements from my 1998 version.

My original 1998 flue fan's motor support structure sagged early on. The squirrel cage fan inside would contact the housing and ring or even lock up. I nursed it for 22 years and it still works (well, the motor fan actually just broke off while doing the swap) but I was getting worried and found this new one. The motor fan (black disk impeller visible on the outside of the motor) is much larger and directs the air flow across the motor and toward the motor support structure. The motor support structure is stronger and now stays a lot cooler. I don't expect the sagging over time. My original motor had wire leads where the new one has terminals right on the motor. The furnace leads were plenty long so it was no issue. Otherwise the unit seems to be identical to the old one. It installed and works just as the old one. Overall a much improved unit and I expect a lot less trouble from it than the first one.
