Do this and nothing else
I am so glad I went this route for two reasons. 1. It was the cheapest and I knew the right sending unit would be going back in my seadoos. And 2. he does more then just replace the float on the inside. My Units came back in perfect working order, (with new floats by the way.) And there is a resistor or something inside the units that also goes bad (which is a real pain to cut open and fix, and that gets fixed also.
If you cheap out and just by the float it may not fix it. And if it does it could be temporary as the resistor may go out next. Bite the bullet and have them repaired this way. "It really is a no brainer"
