Better than the previous model
I owned one of the previous 8bitdo controllers. Belive it was the Sf30 Pro. This controller improves on many things like the joystick, face buttons and shoulder buttons. If you are after a bluetooth controller with compatibility for multiple devices I'd recommend this one.

Does the job, for a little while
I have owned two of these previously and seem to be sturdy and work for a while. They get to a point where when some pressure gets applied to it the protector itself just cracks. To have an image saying that you can hit them with a hammer is a little misleading since under a small amount of pressure the whole thing just cracks since its very brittle. From now on I am just staying away from these.

Does ok but won't connect properly ssometime
I have an iPhone SE to use this with and there can be a lot of unplugging it and plugging it back into your phone in order for the iPhone to register that it's charging. This could be software or hardware related. The android version works perfectly with my wife's Samsung devices though.
