Tascam DR 100 MKIII Studio Quality Handheld Digital Recorder

A very solidly built unit with great sound quality and a plethora of features.
Impressive build quality, heavy and solid feeling. Metal chassis and smooth dial. Click wheel for navigation is pleasant and nostalgic. Quality XLR inputs. Great screen, nice white backlight and clearly readable LCD. Headphone output is nice and loud. USB transfer speed is OK, but not great. Uni-directional mics built in are clear and pick up bird sounds quite well. Omni built-in mics are noisy, however. Extremely high quality recordings with 24/192 in WAV. Fail-over to replacable batteries is good, so when the internal battery runs out, it switches immediately to AAs. Some of the switches and buttons can move in their sockets meaning some extra noise if the unit is moving during recording, but this isn't really a problem - only if you're really trying to find faults with this unit.

Cheap and Performs desired function, though connection is loose and flaky
The cord I purchased was quite cheap, so I wasn't expecting an official Fitbit cord. It is a third party cord. The cord does indeed charge the Fitbit but the connector is quite eager to jump out of the socket, meaning that the fitbit must be stable while charging. If this is not an issue for you then I can easily recommend this item. 4 stars because it works as advertised and the price was too good to pass on. 1 star discounted because the charging connection is not very solid.

4K connectivity, great sound and network functions.
Exactly what I needed for connecting my 4K gaming consoles and my stereo speaker setup. Sound is great and all of the connectivity functions work as expected. Upgraded from a 2011 5.1 Onkyo model and the added features are a godsend (CEC, ARC, WiFi etc.) . App is reliable and everything is working how it should. I’m happy with the build quality and functionality.
