12 stress / life management tips, engaging and energetic delivery by Pamela Jett
I chose "Stress Less" because also have another DVD presented by Pamela Jett which I'd highly recommend; "Remarkable Communication Skills". She's a great trainer.
"Stress Less" is 12 general tips about stress management, entertainingly delivered.
Pamela Jett is always worth a watch / listen - but if you want more depth (which I usually prefer), then I'd recommend supplementing this DVD with Skillpath's "Stress Management for Women" audio program (4 hrs - most of this content would also be useful for men). It delves deeper into the topics and concepts briefly introduced here.
Also, you can't go amiss with a classic like "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R Covey - which Pamela refers to during "Stress Less".
And for bed-time / early-morning listening; "Relaxation and Stress Management" by Maggie Howell (30-minute audio).
I'm also listening to "The Aladdin Factor" by Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen. Its amazing what a niche - and neglected - skillset it is to learn to ASK for what you need.
This is a major part of managing stress, as we tend to assume that people "should" know what we need, or whether they're asking too much of us (i.e. boundaries).
Similarly, I'd also recommend the following Seminars on DVD:
- "Peak Performance Principles: How to boost your self-esteem" by Jack Canfield
- "Doubling Your Productivity: How to manage your time and organise your life" by Brian Tracy
- "The Unbreakable Laws of Self-Confidence: Goal-setting & personal Success" by Brian Tracy
- "Guerrilla Negotiation skills" by Orvel Ray Wilson, which includes 11 ways to say no.
Stress Management seems to be a bit of a nebulous area. Whatever you try, don't give up - there's something out there that will work for you. For instance, you might want to check out Brene Brown (who writes about shame, vulnerability, and courage) and Harriet Lerner (Dance of Anger, Dance of Connection)
After all, we're entitled to a decent quality of life. Find what resonates with you; its a lifetime investment, as modern life isn't getting any less fast-paced or confusing.

cheap DVD, but alas its all in German (with no English subtitles)...
It doesn't seem to have English subtitles, so its lost me completely. Unless you understand German, don't get it.
