Built not to last.
These are built in the early 80’s.
The circuit boards are loaded with resistors, capacitors etc. they alone have a certain life value. Not taking account of the toys use, handling,
water, corrosion and much mote.
Great when new.
one needs to know electronics— eventually — to keep it working.
