universal split ring for large and small split rings
Although I watched the use of this plier on youtube when I received, I tried it and didn't understand the value of this plier because I tried it on a large saltwater lure and my regular split ring plier worked just as well. I even put it back in the package and hopefully could resell it. Then I was fooling around with my smaller lures with my regular pliers and found it could not fit into the split ring....Ding ! That's why I bought these halco pliers! it works on some of the real small split rings!...and large split rings.

Does not roll easily- need more ball bearing points.
Cheap enough but you get what you pay for. Design could be improved with more ball bearing points i.e. More than 4. Does not roll easily and has too much friction even on hard surfaces.
