A fairly complete treatment
This is one of the first really decent treatments of home cobbled projectile weapons that depend on a persons ingenuity rather than pocket book. There is nothing in this book that is beyond the average persons abillity except for the high powered air weapons. Among the covered subjects were stone bows, crossbows both with bolts and bullet shooting, slingshots, and low and high pressure airguns. Well worth the money I paid for it.

Great value for the price
I think that I have spent nearly $200 in pursuit of an accurate slingshot over the past year, trying attractive designs and not getting the results that I remember having when I was a kid. I also wound up with more fork hits and wild shots with those exotic slingshot designs. The slingshot that I was best with, was a Marksman folding slingshot that I had cut the brace from with a hacksaw. I got to where I could hit soft drink cans with .360 lead balls from 10 to 15 yards fairly consistently. The forks on this Marksman are a bit closer together than I remember, but gripping this one is like coming home after a hard day. There are no more wild shots or fork hits and I'm minute of soft drink can again.
