Excellent combination of screen, speed and cameras.
3 of 3 found this helpful The camera(s) exceeded my expectations. Coming from a Pixel 3, I wasn't expecting to be too happy. This phone includes an option to enable DC dimming, which I prefer over the PWM of many smartphone screens. (They flash at a high frequency below 100% brightness, which in my case results in a headache.) And speaking of screens - this is one of the few phones that is 100% screen on the front. The selfie camera is tucked away as a motorized pop-up, and the fingerprint sensor is under the screen. Both are just fine, though I do find the fingerprint sensor less reliable with a tempered glass screen protector applied. Having had a Nexus 6 many years ago, I worried a bit about the size, but it's narrow and slim enough to work. Then again, I have big hands! Everything I've done on the phone has been very fast. Overall it's the kind of phone you will want to find excuses to use.

Well-built, well-designed, a joy to use.
1 of 1 found this helpful Battery, cooling and quietness all impress. Switched from an HP Omen 15 to this because of the PWM that the Omen 15 uses for dimming. This screen uses superior DC dimming which does not give me a headache. Though the battery is smaller than the Omen by 16%, I actually get about an hour more battery when not gaming. I switched between Quiet and Balanced modes - both are plenty cool and quiet, but if I'm playing a game, I like the extra CPU power from Balanced. The Lenovo keyboard is excellent, as always. It's also very nice looking, with two levels of white backlight. The screen is plenty bright and looks colorful and vibrant in games.
