Reeks of Chemical smell
Wow... the box even had a strong chemical smell to it when it arrived. We assembled it and the smell was very strong and coming from the rubber bumpers. We tried to air it out for a week but the smell prevailed. We do not know if it was toxic...but did not trust it. So we ripped off the rubber and the metal of the rack was fine. Of course now we run the risk of pinching our hands when returning a barbell to the rack. It was the same smell as rubberized dumbbells are when new. And they come from China. Who knows what is in them. I would recommend against buying this. Of course its cheap which was the enticement for us. Never again.
