Microphone did not work, bass made music a little muddy.
Microphone did not work, after researching, this appears to be a common problem. Bass was a bit much. It was comfortable while I was trying to get the microphone to work. Returned and purchased HyperX Cloud Pro Gaming Headset - Silver. No issues at all and sounds much better. Very comfortable.

I'm not an "audiophile", but I know what I like when I hear it.
6 of 6 found this helpful As stated in the introduction, I am not an "audiophile" and I mostly watch movies. I spent countless hours reading reviews and wavering between brands and cost. I had a budget of $1200 with the thinking that "you get what you pay for". In addition to the online research and endless "this sounds fuller" or "this is cleaner" or "this is clearly the superior speaker", I visited the only two dedicated audio stores in my area. These stores sell the pricier "audiophile" speakers like Klipsch, Paradigm, etc. and you can listen to them before purchasing. It may be my "untrained" ear or my lack of "audio refinement", but I can't tell the difference between these $99 Polk speakers and those costing $400 to $500 more. As a result, I purchased two Polk M60s ii for the front and the CS1 ii as a center channel. These are connected to an older 7.1 Denon 871 AVR and my Energy 8" subwoofer with the cross-over on the AVR set to 80. The system sounds fantastic and the movies are so much more "full" (a subjective term in the realms of audio review, but I feel it fits this scenario.) For $277 with free shipping and no tax for two Polk M60s and one CS1, it is a fantastic upgrade. It's a safe upgrade also. Spend $1000 and force yourself to think you got a great deal on a questionably better speaker, or spend $200 knowing you can't tell the difference and enjoy it. Just my 2 cents.
