Taylor Made Draw Driver Works To Help Control Slice
thebtls comment is totally off base and incorrect. Placing extra weight in the heel or toe of a driver can most definitely affect the flight of the ball. For example, I have used lead tape on the toe to calm down my draw as I tend to draw the ball and at times and sometimes I draw a bit too much. Now would this tape keep me from hitting a snap hook no but it does help with a shot that would be too far left, or left in a trap. Just the opposite for a slicer as will a draw bias driver totally stop a banana slice, no it won't, but would it help to turn the toe over a bit more and thus less of a slice, yes absolutely as it is pure physics.
Trust me 40 grams of weight in the heel of a driver is a good amount of weight and it will help with getting the toe of the driver to square up a good bit, again not the cure-all for a bad cut slice swing but it will help and anything that can help in golf is worth a shot. So slicer if you want a good driver that will help control a slice this is your club, but if you shot flight is a major banana cut go get a few lessons from a PGA pro thus lessons and a driver that helps with squaring the face (draw weighted) and you will be surprised how much better you will hit your tee shots

Good adaptor but the ferrule is not normal size and is moving away from the adaptor
For the price the adaptor is fine works like an actual Taylor Made adaptor but the ferrule is moving up the shaft away from the adaptor, as the ferrule is not the normal size like the actual Taylor Made kit would be. At this time I don't think it will cause any issues so it is likely cosmetic only, I hope..........

To be honest I really dont get the extra distance that the manufacuture is stating but please read my review and you will see what I mean
OK, so this product is made pretty well meaning it has good adhesion and you can cut it to shape reasonable well so it is a well thought out design. Now from a value perspective it is a bit pricy as each poly-max is about $1.00 each if you buy the 18 pack. As they last about two to three range practice/18 hole rounds, before they get to the point that they are beat up and need to be replaced. So if you use them all the time it could add up.
The other thing is I just don't see the extra yardage as the ball fly's about the same or a bit less distance without it.
Yes you do get lower spin and if you loft up you can get some more yards but only if the fairways are firm to hard. If the fairways are a bit soft you actually get less distance due to lower spin as it does not carry as far and obviously it will not roll out as much due to soft fairway conditions.
I really wanted to like this product but to be honest it only works well is areas that are hot and dry and has firm or hard fairways, as you well get a good amount of roll out. So places like California or Arizona or other hot and dry areas will benefit and the extra distance if from the super low spin and the roll out. Note: don't use it on irons as the ball is crazy hard to control, i.e. knuckle ball city!!!!
