The items arrived this morning, well packed. These spacers are good quality being of nickel plated brass; much better than the cheaper Chinese offerings. I am very pleased with my purchase and will certainly be looking at this sellers items again.

Oregon Pro Shinguards (Pair) - Designed for Brushcutting / Strimming 559061

Peace of mind when using heavy brushcutter blades

I wanted some better leg protection when using Oregon's terrifying mulching blade on my brushcutter. I'd been warned that these blades can occasionally shatter and, given the weight of them, there is a lot of energy to damage limbs that get in the way. These guards are a good compromise between strength and comfort - easy to put on and take off and once I'm working I'm not really aware that they are there, except for a little bit of pulling round the back of the knee guards. I'm not sure whether they would completely stop a high energy blade fragment, but would certainly take most of the energy out of it. I was a bit dubious as to whether they would fit me as most forestry protective trousers seem to be designed for supermodels with disproportionally long legs - I'm 5'8" and these fit just great. Altogether very pleased.
