One of HST's best!
This review is of the 2005 hardback edition. It is a HUGE book in terms of its physical size! It is the size of a coffee table book, something like 15" by 11" by 1.5" thick, really a very nicely put together and weighty tome. I once had a 1983 first edition. Based on my memory of that first edition, the 2005 edition has several additional illustrations by Ralph Steadman. I think the text of the book is the same as the first edition. So glad to have a new (to me) and fabulous copy of this "forgotten" classic of gonzo journalism!

Works just like advertised - exact replacement for existing - satisfied customer.
I bought this item to replace the existing pressure switch on my Central Pneumatics 4 gallon pancake compressor. The compressor is about 20 years old and the original switch had never worked right. With the original switch pushed to the "off" position the compressor would still often run. Should have addressed this years ago but I just put up with it. The new switch is an exact replacement for the original and it works perfectly. It shuts off the compressor at 100 psig, and when pushed to the "off" position it clicks into place and stays there. It is supposed to have adjustable shut-off pressure over a range of 95-120 psig, but there were no instructions on how to make this adjustment - this is no big deal to me since I am OK with the 100-psig shutoff pressure. There were no instructions for installation but since it was an exact replica of the original switch it was obvious how to install the new one by looking at the original.
