Brooks Isle of Wight Large Saddle Bag is Superb
The large Isle of Wight is a perfect size for carrying a spare tube with tire changing tools, wallet, cell phone, garage door opener or keys, with still a little room to spare. Size of the bag looks right on a quality road bike. Bag retains its shape, and the dual zipper closure and Velcro bottom tab with leather finger loop makes for easy access.
Bag mounts solidly under the saddle with leather straps and a leather buckle loop around the seat post. This bag does not move or jiggle about while on the road. The entire bag seems very well constructed of quality materials. The dual zippers have external rubber water seals that make the zippers rather stiff to open or close, but they loosen up after some use.
Highly recommended despite their high price, I now have two of these fine saddle bags permanently mounted on lad bikes.

VL Color Skopar 24MM f/4 a Good Lens with Limitations
Keep in mind that this is the Leica thread mount version of this lens. The major limitation of this 1st version VL 25mm f/4 lens is that it is not rangefinder coupled. Yes, it is not difficult to scale focus the lens. With the included 25mm finder, using this lens on a vintage screw mount Leica body is not a problem. If used on a M mount Leica body with a screw to M adapter, then the major limitation would be if the M body was a Leica M8. The Leica M8 has a built-in 24mm frame line. The problem here is that since this lens is not rangefinder coupled, the built-in frame line will not accurately show the field of view, so for accurate framing, the accessory 25mm finder must be used. With full-frame Leica M bodies, this is not an issue since the accessory 25mm finder would be mounted for use with this lens. But, the limitation on full-frame Leica bodies now becomes a performance issue. With this lens, expect the extreme left and right of the image to have color shift on any full-frame Leica. On the M8 Leica, this is not an issue due to the smaller image sensor. In fact, optical performance of this lens on the M8 is superb, but just keep in mind that the accessory finder must be used.

Shoot Digital As If It Were Film
No question, this is a very specialized camera. If you grew up learning and practicing photography using film, in particular, slide film, then you will understand the philosophy behind this very unique digital camera. This is most definitely not a point and shoot camera. This camera requires a knowledge of light, subject reflectivity, and therefore, how to determine correct exposure. You will not see the fruits of your labor until you get home and "process" the images you made. Just like in days long past when you shot slide film and waited eagerly for the processed box of slides to view on your illuminated slide sorter, viewing with a lupe, and culling the missed exposures from the good ones.
This is a Leica. The quality of this camera is superb. It feels wonderful in the hand with no buttons and no LCD viewing screen to get in your way. This Leica M-D Typ 262 feels just like a film camera without the need for film. This is a camera for photography without the distractions of digital technology. To conclude, nail the exposure and focus, and the end result will be awesome!
