Not for the lazy
1 of 1 found this helpful This record player sounds INCREDIBLE. What else is there to say...except if your lazy get a different player. This player will not start playing with a button, it will not automatically park the needle after playing, you will have to pull the platter to change speeds, and it will require precision adjustment before you start using it. What you get for that is a sound no digital music can come close to. If you have high end speakers, you owe it to yourself to hear what they can sound like...get one!!

Great value, bright brights, dark darks, and fantastic 3D
I have been looking into upgrading my old Sanyo projector to something new and I can't get any more GOOD bulbs for it so it was time. At this price point, the Epson 2150 is brighter, sharper, and has way more features. For me, the biggest selling feature was the 3D as this would be the biggest NEW feature, but what I was hoping for was to get some nice dark blacks. With a 60k:1 contrast ratio, I was hopeful since its better than the 2100. I had been using a business Epson projector as a temp after my Sanyo failed and that projector did not have great blacks, but it was also not rated for them. This 2150 has incredible blacks and only minimal Iris noise while it is adjusting for better blacks. It does spin up the fans when its displaying 3D as the brightness increases automatically, but I don't really notice it while watching movies. It is being used in a theater room with no ambient light, flat paint, and dark carpet on the walls to act as echo deadening and in ECO mode it is VERY bright. All in all, I am very satisfied with this projector.
