Inexpensive and good quality (as assessible so far)
I've been wearing this watch every day for several weeks and have found it quite satisfactory to this point. I bought it because I like the solar charging feature and the extreme water resistance. I've been skin diving with it for the last two weeks in the Caribbean at relatively shallow depths and have had no problems. Like most sport watches, it is large and a bit clunky but not as heavy as some and reasonably comfortable. A true diving watch would have a bezel on it, and that is a disappointment. The biggest negative is that setting the time is complicated and non-intuitive. I'm hoping that once set, the many electronic controls on this watch will make simple adjustments (e.g., shifts between standard time and daylight savings, changes in time zones) easy. Time will tell (sorry for the pun).

Attractive but large and disappointingly not scratch resistant
I have several Citizen Eco Drive watches and I'm very happy with no longer having to replace batteries. This model is good looking but very large and heavy. It's difficult to wear under the cuff of most sleeves, at least given my wrist size. The black enamel (or whatever it is) coating over the stainless steel body is easily marred by slight bumps from hard objects. I found this surprising for an item that is supposed to be a sports watch. For that reason, I'll probably not be using it during sports activities, but reserve it for casual dress situations. Also, the second hand does not align with the tick marks on the face--slightly disconcerting for a watch this expensive but not an overwhelming problem for me. Additionally, the watch face is not the deep rich blue shown in all the images of this watch on-line. It's a much darker color, close to black, except in intense sunlight, when the bluish tint is more pronounced. An informed assessment of value will require a longer experience with the watch, which I've only had for a few weeks.
