I did a full cycle test and the best one only came up to 254mAh.

Best one yet.
1 of 1 found this helpful This type of satellite navigation device fits a very narrow niche. Cell phones with their gps receivers and downloadable apps and maps have made many dedicated GPS devices seem like nostalgic relics of the good ole' days. If you have a cell signal and you're not wearing gloves and you're okay with roughing up your equipment, use your phone. If not, this is what you need.
I abused my GPSMAP 60CSx for over 10 years and it still refuses to die. I finally decided I needed more memory, faster processor and better resolution so I bought the 66s. The wifi and bluetooth connectivity are battery wasters in my opinion. Plugging in to my computer isn't that hard to do if I need firmware or map updates. Besides it gives another layer of security having a copper cable between me and anyone that might figure out how to hack a GPS. Many of the bluetooth features require connecting to my phone, but if my phone has a signal, one of these devices is redundant. I tried to use the weather radar on a recent walk. I got tired of waiting for the info to transfer so I pulled out my phone and got a weather map before the garmin ever updated.
I also discovered you don't need to buy your maps from Garmin because there are multiple sources online that will give you worldwide maps for free. Hiking, driving, bicycling. There are lots of them out there and people update them real time so you don't have to wait (or pay) for periodic updates.
Not liking the extras doesn't take away from the solid qualities of this unit. If it is as tough and trustworthy as my previous model, I'll be a lifelong happy Garmin customer.

Install over old covers.
There were no instructions included. A slip of paper in the package or even a description on the ebay site would have been helpful. They were clearly marked L and R. The first one I installed, I removed the old vinyl cover before installing. It looked a little loose and wrinkly. I installed the second over the old vinyl cover. It was a really tight fit and hard to get on, but the result looked tight and perfect. I ended up putting the old cover on the first armrest under the leather to get the same tight fit. An added benefit of installing this over the existing cover is you don't need to remove the armrest from the seat to do the job. A shoehorn or similar flat lever will help with installation.

Looks like the OEM part. I hope it holds up as long as the original.
