Supposed 3.2kva rating
7 of 7 found this helpful Bought this generator under the impression it had a rating of 3.2kva and a max output of 3.7kva... In actually fact it had a max rating of 2.9kva and a rated of about 2.6 kva. Now that's at a power factor of 1. Once you start to put motors and other inductive loads on it your power factor will worsen and the output of the generator will decrease, meaning you will never get 3.2kva out of it as the overload protection will cut out at 2.9kva. Was not a bad little generator for its price and features but dont be fooled by the misleading specifications on the unit.

Gentrax 3.5kw generator performs very well.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this generator after the one I originally bought (different brand) didn't perform to what they stated it would. Was a bit sceptical about this one performing to its stated 3.5kw max output. But I have been impressed and this generator performs very well even at a full load of 3.5kw. The only thing that surprised me with this generator is it is quite noisy when a load put on it. Isn't as quite as the pervious generator that I sent back, but it didn't preform any where near as well as this one so the noise isn't that big of a deal. If you want good value for money with a generator that actually preforms to what they state it than this is the one for you. Would defiantly recommend.
