The box top was open suggesting that’s how it was damaged. However, upon close inspection, I didn’t see any signs of glue in the break. I offered to keep it with the insurance to cover the repair. The seller kept insisting he would keep the insurance and he wanted it back. I think he tried to pull insurance fraud to repair damage that was there before shipment. I had to file a complaint against him be cause he would not return the guitar. I asked him several times before I filed the complaint against him. He not only wanted a refund, which I was very willing to issue, but he wanted the insurance too, plus the guitar. On another seller page he had stripped down the 2003 Gibson Les Paul studio and has listed it for sale. Go look. I received the full payment and he kept the guitar. In retaliation he posted this false feedback

Lacks good quality control
Lighting works as expected. Great for small to medium venues. Quality control and packaging leaves a lot to be desired. One light socket had come apart , thankfully all the pieces were in the box. Minor dings and dents. All easy to fix , but something I should not have to do with anew purchase. I suggest opening packaging to inspect the product before paying. I purchased mine on line, so I was unable to do that. Again the lighting works great.
