Little Tikes Picnic on the Patio Playhouse - Natural

Disappointing

I received the playhouse which was very well packed however when I opened it to put it together there should have been large, medium and small screws. There were no medium screws so I had to go out and buy more screws. The sides with the 3 windows and the one with the red door were bowed and to screw everything (sides and roof sections together) we had to force all the sides together each time we screwed to try and get the corner of the sides to fit which I am sure they would have if 2 sides were not bowed. The same with the roof sections, we had to forceably push down on them and up on the sides to get them as close a possible together to screw them together. This also made it very difficult to attach the little stove in the corner of 2 sides (it is not very satisfactory and doesn't seem very fixed). It was a major job and took far longer than I expected. There is no way one person could have put it together in this condition. We were disappointed after all the money we paid to buy a new one but there was no way we were going to pack it back up and send it back, that would have been a very large task considering the size of the packaging box. It is up now and it will have to do, hopefully it won't come apart when the kids gather strength as they grow. It is very colourful and does have some good features - not too big and the kids do like it.

Good item but would think for a higher age group

Good item but maybe a bit too complicated/hard for a 4-5year old to do without help.
