Great as a first GPS, probably not so good for a more advanced user.
Took a while to figure out how to enter the co-ordinates, but that was because the seller had left it in a format I'd not come across before, and once I'd figured out how to change it, it was easy. Can take while to enter co-ordinates, and amount of letters allowed seems to be one less than the cache identifier code (I use my GPS exclusively for geocaching)so each waypoint needs renaming, which is also a bit slow. A pop up keyboard, like on a smartphone, would be useful if anyone from Garmin is reading this! Co-ordinates are much easier to enter if you use a cable - unfortunately the one supplied has a very old connector. A new cable is expensive, but an adaptor can be bought reasonably cheaply. Easy to see, accuracy generally good, though can be further out than it says, and can be a bit hit and miss under trees. Doesn't contain the option for maps, so if this is something you want, go for a better model. For caching I use it in conjunction with an iPhone app which is great in the town, but not so good in the country. The lack of map means there is the risk of ending up on the wrong side of a canal, railway line etc as you can't see exactly where it is taking you.
