Two-speed effective electric toothbrush
Itt is the same model of toothbrush that I've had before, but the description of the individual item, though it mentioned a non--functioning charging light, neglected to say that it has a gouge in the plastic handle (I hope I can seal that, so water can't get into the case) and that the timing of the pauses that mark completion of brushing each quadrant seems to be off. Nevertheless, it is much better for me than the Oral B 1000 would be. It has two speeds, is not hard on my teeth and is probably quieter than the 1000 – although it hardly is quiet. (My old one wasn't very quiet, either.)
I am, however, not pleased with having been forced to buy the generic brushes, which I had to pay for and I'll have to give away. It's a small complaint, I'll grant, but I don't think well of generic brushes (and Oral B doesn't, either). I couldn't find another offer of the model of electric toothbrush I needed, so I took this one, but I am eco-conscious and disinclined just to throw the brushes away. That said, the brush does a good job of eleaning it is not too harsh or loud, and the package, though wrapped in a strange collection of what seemed to have been cut from an old box and yards of packing tape, arrived in good shape and very promptly.
